Two difficult drill holes

My view

Two shallow and very diffcult holes were drilled (unable to reach depth due to faults and fear of breaking equipment), this is of concern as it may limit the capture of oil if it is located beyond 9,000 feet.

No source rock found that feeds the oil, this is even a bigger concern as you need the source rock.   Without source rock, there is no oil.

Minimal gas readings indicates possible immature oil

Failure to tell shareholders in April of depth issues in hole 6-2 feeds into transparency issues.

Without commerical oil, I am afraid that this will happen.

Some people don't know how to read an NR  ? they stopped drilling because the oil kept getting in the way !!!! They have drilled two strat wells with excellent results - more news to follow!!!!!

Stop misleading people.  Limited drilling had to do with faults and not oil.  This is what Evans said: SE: The wells were permitted to the conservative maximum depth that the drill rig could achieve.   As the first wells in this basin and the nearest control well over 375km away, we wanted to be able to drill as deep as we could safely and not ask for new permits ...more

@deepoil0808, you have already proven incapable of maintaining your lie that you have worked in international exploration - you never did respond to my earlier post, none of the assets you have worked on were ever exploration, they were in developed basins. But your last 2 posts have shown that drilling is definitely not in your wheelhouse. They stopped drilling because they found what they ...more

Jarvie stated that you need the right source rock because that is what feeds the reservoir rock with oil.    You now claim that this source rock is irrelevant, going against what Jarvie said.  If you have no source rock, you have no oil.     The Horizon report stated that the oil shows are not a source rock.   My view is that it could be oil stains that are ...more

@deepoil0808, please read my previous post VERY CAREFULLY! I said FINDING the source rock was inconsequential, but of course source rock is where the oil is "formed" and crucial to the overall asset, but is not necessarily where the oil is produced from, that's the reservoir. So my comment is completely compatible with your first issues. Why would the company release a mud log of ...more

Plus to mention that Jarvis being quite doesn't mean jack, The last time I remember him speaking was during the Texas presentation some 8 months ago.

Dee Poil everyone is dumber for having read that drivel. Oil Stains??? That is retarded. Its far more likely that enzymes degraded the oil. Especially since that is manifested in the first section. A dirty pair of underwear would contribute more to this conversation than this imaginary oil staining narrative. It's over RECAF did it. The fact that they didnt hit source Rock is Phenomenal News ...more

No source rock found that feeds the oil, this is even a bigger concern as you need the source rock.   Without source rock, there is no oil.  I've read some ignorant statements before, but can't recall any which come close to reaching the scale this one does. Did Drake hit source rock?   No, but he struck oil. He struck oil after drilling 69 ft. into the ground ...more
