Thanks for the enlightenment. But still I don't see this as a biggie. The Russians have their grimy big fingers in all sorts of pies but I just can't see any sanctions or dire consequences against Recaf. And this Mexican venture is just a sideline - correct me if I am wrong- but the big show for Recaf is still Africa.

Africa is the BIG ONE for sure. Perhaps Reco can get rid of them as partners by issuiing them a few shares since Lukoil is down big time. It would clean up the balance sheet and could prove worthwhile when Amlo is gone in the next election. Mexico could have been raking in the dough but instead Pemex owes in excess of 100 billion and production has been way down for years. Unless they open things ...more
