It is not about the past with futures but the future. Yes nat gas Inventories are down now but can easily be ramped up.  I play nat gas futures and the week before inventory acceleration build was at 5.2 %, and last week at 4.8%. But we also are exporting a heck of a lot to Europe since they are buying heavily to stock up. So prices are high, but for how long? Europe can only store so ...more

I don't know where you are getting your figures that nat gas production is declining but the latest ones show an accelerating nice build of 5.4 % of US inventories. It is steady and I expect it to accelerate.
