Too many freaking elephants-Namibia selling them off!

The environmentalists are pushing the elephant nonsense and lied that Recaf will impact elephants. The situation is the opposite. There are way too many elephants in Namibia and the gov is culling the herds and even selling them off. So Recaf is not impacting or hurting elephants. See below:

'Plans by the Namibian Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) to capture and sell off 170 of the last free-roaming elephants among the communal farming areas of north-western and north-eastern Namibia...'

Yrmac, right you are.  Conservation efforts and arming the wildlife police with automatic weapons to fight poachers off have been very successful and the herds have grown greatly. With drought the government is trying to humanely thin the herds and one way is to sell them off to qualified parties. So oil exploration, development, and Recaf are NOT hurting any elephants!
