Why? Because Recaf has discovered oil and wants to buy as much area as possible cheaply before it is announced officially and prices skyrocket. Smart Recaf move!

Namcor is selling because they don't know any better, have political pressure, and are cash strapped.

Agreed pacer. The other potential aspect at play is they want less carried interest to have a better chance to attract a partner. I suspect this has been a converstation(s) already.
