Nice article. Fourth  well to start in a couple of weeks.Look to move 50,000 barrells via truck and rail . One of largest onshore basins globally. Go Grayson. Ciao

Thanks Bpultra If that statement is really from Grayson they need to issue a NR. To put this type of statement out in such a platform without the proper newswire services is just inappropiate in so many ways.

The only selling from here will be short covering !!!!
Comment by cyrustg on Oct 05, 2022 12:35pm
Liked the part in the speech  where Grayson says they ill be starting small and build up over time. 50,000 is small ,so what is large - 500,000 per day or more ? News tonight ? Ciao

I would like to see some press release already if this is all true. JMHO

Crude I think you got that backwards.  Shorts will have to cover their sales by buying Recaf back as it goes up in that the higher it goes the more they lose. Unlike a long that can only lose what they put in a short theoretically can suffer unlimited losses as a stock has no limit generally as far as high it can go.

Very much agree YoDog. i have had my hopes dashed here too many times. We need solid authoritative confirmation news like is normally done.  Why Recaf with all the high priced pr/invester pros is so slimy on news is concerning.

Recon continues to be cute, almost too cute, with what they say publicly.  No press release is necessary because Grayson essentially said nothing.  Well results are "extremely positive" is not data, it's an opinion.  And the cr@p about "starting small" at 50,000 bpd is just fluff, in the first paragraph he is quoted as saying "if" the project pays ...more

JimG You're right on the 'if' in the first part.  Then he goes on to tell of volumes of oil and how they are going to move it, that are significant. I'm sure this wouldn't be a thought if the hole was a duster.
Comment by jimgeorge on Oct 05, 2022 7:53pm
This is their MO - they imply a lot without actually making direct statements that they can be sued for.  They fully intend to mislead the market by talking about pie-in-the-sky huge production numbers without a shred of production test data. And the well is not a "duster", it's a strat test that was never intended to produce.  Read all their statements carefully, they ...more

Well said jimgeorge - I think finding a more believeable/credible IR guy would be a good idea. I have no confidence in anything Grayson Anderson says - he's always just blowing smoke. If any of what was quoted by the author is true, then RECO is withholding material information which is not permitted. It could be the author of the article simply misunderstood much of what was said. In any case ...more

One more thing - if some Namibian guy affiliated in some way with Recon said they have flowing oil, regardless of where he got that idea from Recon needs to "walk it back" by denying it and saying they have no glowing oil, they haven't even tested oil.  Unless it's true, then they're in bigger trouble...

You got to be a shorter. You better start buying back or you want be in the stockmarket any longer. Broke!! c14

Exactly why I'm saying the IR guy needs to be replaced - he is a big part of the problem.
Comment by pacer001 on Oct 06, 2022 11:43pm
AnMar we just hired five months ago an expert IR person: a Mr. Matthew Warner. link: https://reconafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/ReconAfrica-Press-Release-051622.pdf This is in addition to the newly hired PR person and newly hired corporate secretary who has M&A experience.  We also have a senior pr person in Namibia who is the daughter of a high ranking military official. Mr. Warner, our IR person, is getting near $5,000 US per week or about $1,000 per week day per his agreement.

Annan to your statement: "think finding a more believeable/credible IR guy would be a good idea."   Recently they have hired alleged pr and ir "high powered" individals. Yet I don't see their work products!
