The Putin Put coming?

The wires are full of stories about Putin's declining health and now rebellions spreading in the conscript military ranks. The fear is that his replacement will be worse than him but let's remember the old time hardliners tried a coup in 1991 and failed. I think they may try again but will also fail.

This is yet another reason Recaf needs to move and move faster. If there is a new friendly regime to come in Russia oil and gas will flow heavy and fast resulting in a huge oil price collapse.

Pacer,  A large discovery will attact attention, in an up or down market. Question is do they have it yet, or do we need to wait for a well or two more.

Yo-dog we should be getting / have gotten more info by now. The good news is that the Biden Administration has put a defacto  support price on oil of about $67; but for how long. Namibia has stated a goal of 4 years to be producing from its off shore fields and we should be actually producing a lot faster once we get "in gear". We need oil around $60 to be profitable I would guess ...more

I am a shareholder of RECO   I also want the Russian invasion of Ukraine to stop even if it causes the price of oil to drop   I saw the way China treated their former dictator Hu Jintao China is ruled by dictator Xi Jinping Russia under Putin and China under Xi Jinping are rotten to the core (not the people) I hope that Namibia is smart enough to steer clear of both   ...more

There won't be a huge oil collapse even if Putin is gone and Russia is no longer under his control. Oil and Gas supply of Europe won't becoming from Russia again for the foreseeable future. The world has learned that Russia can never be trusted, and that toothpaste will never go back in the tube.  Besides the price of oil is now the same as prior to Russian invasion of Ukraine, so ...more
