clearing at 5-1; good or bad.
The plan, as I recall, was to drill a sidetrack off 6-2 next. If the clearing is a sign 5-1 is next, it might be a positive sign for 8-2. Here's my reasoning:
If 8-2 was a failure, they would want to side track 6-2 since they know there is oil there. It would provide a positive news event for recon. To go to 5-1 with poor results from 8-2 is just too big of a risk for the company.
Any other scenairos?
This is a simplist view. We don't know if there is an issue with 6-2 location (permits, resistance etc), or there are politics in play, management mis-step, snow storm, etc.

Yo_dog, a snow storm in Namibia? Yes I do know that it does snow in Africa, south, and there is even a ski resort there but as far as I have heard nothing like that in Namibia.

Yo_dog I stand corrected there is a ski resort of sorts in Namibia and some twenty in all of Africa. Plus the Arabs have built an indoor area that they refrigerate but I don't think that is considerated Africa. Skingin Namibia: https://www.skiresort.info/ski-resort/ski-namibia/
