Volume update - May22 - one seller dumping all shares

Here's the volume on the TSX from May 1-> today  (there's not that much on the CCX - the TSX had most of the volume).  

The one interesting thing that I took away is that when you look at the bottom, you have one broker, Stifel Nicolaus whom did not purchase a single share in the period and sold off 215,800 which was a totla of 23% of the total transactions in the entire month. 

Looks like they just wanted out at 1.15-1.20 prices.  They are continuing to sell this week at 1.10-1.13 and look to just be liquidating their position as they represent about 75% of the total volume this week.

Thanks for posting this although the other exchanges seem to have more volume than you state. Already today the TSX is less than 30% of all the shares traded. 7601 traded on the on TSX and 26.1 thousand total.

Right - the CCX typically has more volume than the TSX for RET.  I'm using free versions of software, so some of the data is time lagged.  Still when I updated just now to get the updated volume, the story is the same.  Stiffel today is 75% of the total sales volume on the seller side, but 0% on the buy side of that 26K total volume.  So there's a nervous Nellie in

I've picked up 75,000 shares in the past couple of months (voting shares). I hope i'm not wrong on this one because it's gonna hurt. I also wish some of the insiders would grow a pair and buy some shares and/or management/BOD get their head out of their ar-se and buy back 1 or 2 million shares. Any idea what that would do to share price?

nothing because it is not going to happen. After the stock option grab this stock died.

I wouldn't say dead, but right now, there's no institutional interest and we're amongst a few of the retail investors interested right now. Need earnings release to give a bit of guidance - I'm happy enough with my position and not adding/selling until results come out.  I'm not uncomfortable with the price level now - it's trading at what I see as close to a floor
