Potential for an uplisting

I've seen lots of mentions about the potential boost to the share profile if the shares are uplisted.

Given that the Reitman family has majority control, would such an uplisting be a prioroty for them or even in the own self interest?

If they care about the stock price then yes its in their interest. Most of the large institutions in Canada and analysts won't invest or cover stocks not on the "big board". They would open the stock to many more potential investors by uplisting plus it gives the stock more credibility.

All the uplisting comments come from the pumpers on here not the company .    Uplisting will  bring more scrutiny and rules . If they  could bank 19 plus million a year  in compensation why would they bother uplisting ?  Share price is only important to them if they are cashing out.  Till the company AND ONLY THE COMPANY   makes an official ...more

Thanks sorrenson, Without pretending to know the back-story here in any great detail or the dynamics of the family ownership, that's pretty much along the lines I was thinking as well.
