I'm not quite sure Barry. It's like flipping a coin.  I am forecasting a recession in the US by Q3 which could also spill into Canada at some point.  A recession could put a delay on the share price performance in the second half of the year. If I assume no dividend in 2023 and no uplisting in 2023, but they add to cash of  30-48 million (0.60 to 1.00) per share, the book value will be close to $6  (currently 5.34). So if you discount the book value by 25% then the stock should be closer to 4.50 by this time next year.

What ! surely you jest. In any takeover , book value is usually one of the key metrics . RETs book is hard value mostly cash and real estate . Hard book is usually a key focus of my investment research.....and I love cash and a pristine balance sheet. Don't U ?

As of this writing, Reitmans is trading well below its historical price to book values. At some ...more
