Royal Helium is a production, infrastructure, and exploration company with a primary focus on the development of helium and associated gases. The Company is currently producing purified helium at its Steveville Helium facility in Alberta and it's extensive footprint includes prospective helium permits and leases across southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta. Given the current and foreseeable global undersupplied nature of this critical and non-renewable product, Royal is well positioned to be a leading North American producer of this increasingly high value commodity.

Looks like great news!  "pleased to announce a significant helium discovery at the Climax helium project, located in SW Saskatchewan, Canada. Royal has discovered a 39 meter contiguous helium bearing zone at Climax-3 in the basal Deadwood Regolith (“Regolith”) which was a previously unknown helium bearing sequence. The same Regolith zone was also intersected at Climax-2 and Royal has ...more

This latest news seems to be a last ditch effort to try and cover from the drilling results, I can't seem to find much upside, anyone who is at all familar with anything to do with oil and gas exploration will relize how much hair there is in the latest press release, seems like a lot of smoke and mirrors to me. The compnay announced a few months back that they has engaged with Sproule to ...more

I am not sure how you think this is a last ditch effort to recover from the drilling results? The drilling results were good, they found helium and good amounts. I believe the reason Sproule is not mentioned is because they would need the values from the production testing to complete their analysis on the area. They do use past historical values but since this is a new emerging play they would ...more

The 40% methane is really concerning, the additional Capex that is going to be required to deal with that in my opinion could destroy the economics of any Helium. They say that can use it for operations, but methane isn't combustible at 40% so they will need some serious facilities in place to first strip it and then they would need to haul in LNG to mix with it to even be able to use it for ...more

Cannuckktrader: Why do you say methane at 40% is not combustbile?  The flammabiltiy limits of methane are 5 to 17% and if anything the methane as it comes out of the ground is to rich to burn and will need to be mixed with air.  When I read the release I fully agreed with RHC that the methane could be used to fuel operations.  I also noticed there was no hydrogen sulphide so RHC ...more

Because 60% of the other gas mixed in with it is not combustible, thats what I was saying, they need to strip of that methane from the other carrier gases, you can't just feed that methane and use it for operations it is much more complicated than that.

Quotes from From Dean Nawata on Twitter when I asked a few questions:   When asked about hydrogen % and Methane %   "both these are very interesting - not expected at all. This deep should not have organic carbon (Precambrian, before life on earth) - hydrogen (highly reactive) that hasn’t bonded with anything yet? Methane is minor but we could use for power don’t need much ...more
