Royal Helium is a production, infrastructure, and exploration company with a primary focus on the development of helium and associated gases. The Company is currently producing purified helium at its Steveville Helium facility in Alberta and it's extensive footprint includes prospective helium permits and leases across southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta. Given the current and foreseeable global undersupplied nature of this critical and non-renewable product, Royal is well positioned to be a leading North American producer of this increasingly high value commodity.

now what ?

I have sat on this stock for a year now waiting for some good news and hopefully a uptick in price . News this morning was ok i guess , nothing special on He percentages , still no idea on what they are going to do and how to approach the drilling program , stock volume today so far is terrible , down slightly again 39.5   What is it going to take to get this thing going ? Im losing patience and am starting to think ill come back here in 6 months or so and maybe put my money back in again at the same price and see what happens ??  Any thoughts ??  Anyone else feel the same way as i do ? Any advice would be welcome ....

Yes it was a pretty vague news release I am sitting on two stocks like this and may do the same sell and buy in again if and when they are closer to production. My other stock is ETMC a lithium play in Alberta. Both look very promising and with high helium and lithium pricing now is the time to get in at the bottom with juniors but which juniors will move ahead to production?

I personally do not get attached to the story and often utilize a stop loss and pre-set buy/sell limits.   However a good story can drive SP significantly without and substantial substance behind it and take advantage of the opportunity when it is presented.  I am not financially heavy in my own investing and consider anything I invest as immediately lost once invested – my version ...more

frost: I agree with a lot of that. Management is key. And I don't mind buying a better story if I find on, e and not  regretting the ones I move on from. But with the special situations/turnaround  and high risk / high reward microcaps the story is some times everything. If a company already has growing revenues and profits, a good balance sheet, and a substantial moat protecting ...more

Margin – The word “lost” perhaps was not a good choice.  With my personal investing I am hopeful to make a return but am not dependant on it for income supplement, retirement or the like and I am not devastated when the return is negative, its more of an interest than a vehicle to me.  I fully agree with your comments regarding special situations and your take on risk/value.  Junior ...more

Raiders: Who knows what to do but trying to time it too closely doesn't usually work with microcap high risk high reward stocks.  My idea (actually Peter Lynch's for a blast from the past)  is to have 4-5  picks like this where you believe the story.  Have high conviction. But spread the risk a little. If the story changes, bail out if you can before it collapses. Not ...more
