Disappearing posts?

And where exactly did the last days posts go?   Haven't noticed this happening on stockhouse before....very weird.....

Yeah--about four days worth of discussions destroyed. Most of the discussion was opinion on the lawsuit brought by a disgruntled stockholder. My guess is that lawyers hoping to make a killing on this wanted that discussion gone and they had the archives destroyed.

I never thought about it, but now that you say it, it was probably mostly about the upcoming lawsuit.  Can us regular joes not give out our thoughts about a known upcoming lawsuit on a public forum?  I am not a lawyer, but on what basis are they allowed to eliminate free speech?  Did we do something wrong?

Post were just informative on class action and not offensive, deleting them is 10 times worth for Reliq image than let people be informed on a material event ... based on public information freely and easily available to any shareholder.

No they were not offensive at all, and comments I saw were as critical of the plaintiff as they were of Reliq. The fact is that they are gone, which shows that someone  wanted them gone. Could be the plaintiff's law firm. What's clear is that someone had the power and influence to move Stockhouse to destroy its own archives so that the discussion could not continue to be read

If the person posting is invovled or is a possible witness, it could be a problem. Add in the fact that if  the judge has ordered a non publication ban (very unlikly) could be another huge problem. Who knows one of the side could of served a subpoena or a court order on stockhouse for the seizure of the posts and information on the poster. People forget that just because this is an anonymous

There is NO problem, class action is mentioned on Siskinds website (and in reliq financial in a very light form) and court document on national class action website. This is stupid move to request removal of public and non-confidential document. Reliq have to face a class action, nothing less nothing more, first hearing next week and reply on court go/no-go in coming months.

to think ... or to suggest ... that Reliq asked for the posts to be removed is just conspiracy.  Take off the tinfoil hat.

Watch22 not sure if your post is directed at me but if it is, didnt say rht asked to have them removed. There could be many reasons they were removed and i gave a few options, but never said RHt asked for them to be removed.. if its directed at me i think its you who needs to take the tin foil hat off as it effecting your reading.

You suggested "one side" of the lawsuit... that's what I read.  Maybe I read it wrong... so you certainly WERE suggesting that RHT might have been the one responsible for some removal of posts... perhaps you didn't MEAN to say that... maybe your passion for the subject is AFFECTING your writing! The company has flagged the lawsuit repeatedly... every quarter

They do not want to heard about class action but it is public information at Siskinds website and National Class Action database https://cbaapps.org/ClassAction/Search.aspx When people afraid of public info you know it stinks.
