Internal controls
If the co. does not know if a device it shipped out has been activated 9 months later I bet it also has no clue when a patient makes a visit to the doctor and is ineligible that month for RPM reimbursement even if 16+ readings were recorded. Reliq or its clients could get caught in an over billing situation and have to refund money to CMS. Get on with the damn upgrade to internal controls, already.

To correct the misinformation from ISCFA. A patient is not ineligible for RPM services if they go see their doctor. In fact RPM can be billed along side most other in-person and virtual care services. The only program Reliq provides services to that has billing restrictions is CCM and that is if a patient has current home health care services.

Nothing about a doctors visit making RPM ineligible in their statement so I have no idea where you have come up with that. Obviously if a patient is in the hospital they are not taking their readings and are unlikely to be able to be contacted by their care manager especially if they are in the ICU. As I said home care visits do make patients ineligible for CCM.
