If you have the amount purchased by insiders over the last few weeks please post the amounts. Such insider purchases indicates what... that no new announcements are imminent  (as that would prevent insider purchases, according to the canadian regs I believe). A good indicator for sure but it might be an indication of no impending news thus an insider is allowed right now to buy

Insiders buy for the same reasons most prudent investors buy: they believe the price represents excellent value. It isn't rocket science. Most significantly, when an insider uses his own cash to purchase additional shares and he already owns a healthy amount of stock and options, he obviously has a strong conviction the stock will be worth a multiple of the current share price.
