True width of mineralization

I think the main reasons why the stock hasn't done better on this recent news is due to investors not knowing the true width of the mineralization. A lot is still unknown. Also the market for junior miners is horrible right now along with RMC only ending up with 25% once all is said and done. Traders are also taking advantage of the long delay between drill results. Just some possible reasons for the disappointing performance yesterday. Glta.>

Agreed, from some of the photos posted it looks like they are drilling at a 30 degree angle or so to mineralisation, which is to be expected as they are vertical drilling a sub-vertical structure.  therefore potential thickness of around 50-100m.....   ver hard to tell, especially as it is a HS deposit and the mineralisation is secondary in nature, not primary. it is effectivelly " ...more

7theSpeculator, i'm curious as to how you have arrived at your conclusion given the crossections of 17&13 vs 10&14. thanks in advance.

Buckshot, Good question and it is difficult to adequately portray without x-sections to draw on, but....   266m @ 1.23% in hole1210 - where do you link that to? core photos suggest a ~20 degree angle to core fracturing (along with mineral veining) so it would be possible to link this to the 204m @ 1.63%.  That would suggest a width or between 50-60m.  there could be a splay off to ...more

7thspeculator, I think your math may be way off. https://www.reservoirminerals.com/files/doc_presentations/RMC_APRIL13_2_v001_t3j8lv.pdf looking at the cross sections on the last page of the appendix, and seeing where they reach the HS zone ( andesites etc) I can agree with your 20 degree dip to the west.  what i can't see is how you extrapolate your widths.  ...more

I can't understand why this is selling off so much. These are some big numbers. I'm glad I took some money off the table a while back though. Still holding strong. Would have like to have been in when the discovery hole was announced. Partly why I've been buying https://www.westhavenventures.com. Hoping that the management team will make another big discovery. My portfolio could ...more

Buckshot, You miss understand me I think, or i am not clear in my post, a 20-30degree angle to core axis on a vertical drill hole equates to a 60-70degree dip or sub-vertical, i think this is shown well on the section 1210-1214, true width would be from 35-45% of downhole intersection. On section 1213-1217 it is a little more unclear, when the results come in for hole 1216 this should remove some ...more
