Jasikovo-Durlan Potok Exploration

Has anyone seen a release of this hole that was completed in November 2012? The MD&A states that it takes 30 to 40 days.

"Jasikovo-Durlan Potok Exploration Permit covers an area of 86.15 square kilometres. Drill hole FMTC 1222 was completed in November 2012 at a termination depth of 1,073.8 metres. The Company is awaiting the assay results, which will be reported after evaluation by the Company. A total of 3,605 metres of drilling have been completed to date in the Jasikovo-Durlan Potok Exploration Permit Area."

Also there are 2 holes that Freeport drilled on 2 different Reservoir 100% owned permits that were completed in February that are past the 40 days. It seems we have a lot of holes that have been drilled but few are being announced. Not sure if this is good or bad.

"In the Tilva-Njagra Exploration Permit Area, five CSAMT geophysical survey lines with a total length of 26.9 kilometres were undertaken during November 2012, a diamond drill hole to a depth of 1,173.0 metres was completed in February 2013, a second drill hole to a depth of 1,100.2 metres was completed in April 2013, and a third hole is currently being drilled. In the Coka-Kupjatra Exploration Permit Area, a diamond drill hole was completed to a depth of 1,101.6 metres during February 2013, and a second hole is currently being drilled. Drill assay results will be reported when they have been received and assessed by the Company."

I cannot imagine why Freeport would be drilling on 100% RMC owned land unless they were trying to value the company for purchase.  Although I can also imagine if they wanted to buy just the land they are already partnered on they could do that too. Hard to figure out what is happening, or why some holes seem to have not been released while others have. I guess we will know when they decide to ...more

My take is that Freeport is playing with Reservoir to gain advantage in a takeover. There is no way that it is taking this long for drilling results. Freeport does not want Reservoirs share price to skyrocket. Takeover will be far more expensive. This is a classic case of the Giant playing with the goose that laid the Golden Egg.

One reason to drill on the 100% owned property without a farm in would be if Reservoir is asking for a way better deal in light of the discovery and Freeport wants to test a few holes first and based on the results decide whether or not to JV again. I also agree with you on the holes being released. They are not in the order they have been drilled in if they drilled them numerically which I ...more

Seems like good logic rob926.  I would guess that Freeport is drilling to try figure out of it should take Reservoir out of the Bor region in  one fell swoop, rather than in parts which would be more expensive.  If they are considering buying the remaining 25% of the current target, I think they should look at the rest at the same time before making a ...more

If I was Freeport I would keep the news close to the vest as long as possible. I would take the time to find out what I had and get all the land tied up before I let the world know what I have. This would allow me to get all the assets I wanted and at a pre Bor land rush. Most the news we have heard so far was after a halt which means news leaked out not really a planned announcement. The last ...more
