Results - another take

Can anyone think of a scenario where Freeport would not bother sending the samples for further analysis yet still continue drilling new holes?

This could be ignorance or wishful thinking but I find it difficult to believe that Freeport is able to receive results of outside analysis and not release it to RMC and the market.  I also find it difficult to believe that if Freeport has sent in samples for analsys that they have not been completed with analysis sent back to Freeport by now.

Hoping no news is good news and that actual good news is coming soon.

I believe there is a case to be made that Freeport is drilling and analyzing but not reporting to Reservoir. Freeport is obviously on to something here and hopefully something really big. It does not do Freeport any good to release news before they know what they have and to tie up all the leases they want surrounding their find. Why create a land rush before you buy all the land. Rob. I think you are correct. At some point in time they will have to report to Reservoir. Maybe they dont want Reservoirs stock to double or triple and then have to buy them out down the road for a ton of money. They maybe planning a takeover bid shortly if they think they have found the mother lode. There are currently no big investors that can control a cheap takeover so why wouldnt they grab ...more

Redmetal. How did you arrive at $6 for a buyout? This could end up a world class deposit and possibly more than one since they are drilling on other leases as well at this time. If there is a discovery on the 100% owned leases their farm in deal should be more than the current 25%. I have not seen anyone speculate what the value could be based on the findings so far but hints that it could be ...more
