Reducing the Rigs in nice weather aint a good sign.

My take, is the sweet spot is awesome. 2 drill holes are dead next to the sweet spot, and until Freeport discloses the goods( which they alreay know) it is fantasy and speculation. I hold more shares than most readers of this board, but I like disclosure. SIMPLE AS THAT.

Reducing rigs because they have used up 2013 budget. Also Freeport are in negotiations with parties about larger capacity smelter. Freeport are weighing options. 2014 exploration budget to be much greater.Freeport is a large company with huge expenditures globally so this project has to make sense with overall game plan. RMC stock is going higher for very good reason. Buyout decision coming soon ...more

Reducing the rigs and essentially stopping drilling is the best sign possible for RMC. Freeport knows that every dollar it is spending on drilling is only upping the price it is going to have to eventually pay for RMC's interest in the JV. Freeport already possesses enough information and has decided to build a mine. The only question left for it is how much it is going to have to pay for RMC. ...more

Red, we know this important point 'mineralized footprint area of approximately 540 by 385 metres'.  So yes a couple of holes to the south were dry. So what?  The body is clear in the other directions.  I'm sure some smart people at RMC and Freeport have figured out roughly how big it is, and per the one local article posted, where they are probably talking to locals ...more

The measure of thought going into this blog site is great , BUT the concensus is good . Minds at the top are already made up. The thought going into this is now the mine plan and the economics of this decision. One key is % ownership and royalty arrangements. Reservoir holds the key. A little patience ,but not for long, the decision will be made shortly. There is only one to make.
