New high on the heels of an equity financing in this market speaks to the incredible strength of RMC and that it remains significantly undervalued. When the brokerage houses who have come in on this placement start writing new and/or supplemental coverage reports and their respective brokers start pushing the stock , RMC should move up in price steadily. Scotia's vauation, which does not ...more

I am surprised the stock is climbing, granted on modest volume.  Will be interesting to see where the next level of stability is established. I suspect RMC did not expect the gain either, else they might have pursued a higher price. Our new shareholders have gotten a heck of a deal at 5.75 - I would love to have some of that action.  I wonder if RMC can adjust price at this point or ...more

Thanks PSJ, I appreciate your answer and respect your point of view as I hope you do mine. I think the rise is more due to the porphyry potential than the infusion, but it's irrelevant either way.  Two more questions before my caffeine wears off and I switch to Crown;)    1. When might they make a move to a full US exchange and off the pink sheets?  That ...more

There is no real benefit to a US listing for RMC. US investors can readily purchase it now. A US listing would just be an additonal overhead cost and another layer of regulatory compliance. I am not "sure" about anything but my best guess is that in light of Simon's previously publicized Asian trip in January where according to the newswires he met with Jing Bao Ltd., I would ...more

Thanks PSJ. Good point re the cost and effort of a US listing. Not all US brokers allow CDN investments however - like mine - but probably the bigger ones do. There are many outcomes possible for RMC for sure, incl. Jing Bao. But I'd guess if this is a tier one mine Freeport will not want a partner that is mainly interested in sourcing copper for less than market pricing, and in that case ...more
