Thanks for the update Buckshot26. I think Lundin's public statement matches with my belief that the only thing that is a done deal at this point is that RMC is exercising its ROFO and by Monday will own significantly more of Timok than it did a week ago. I plan on listening to the call tomorrow morning. I do not expect them to provide much detail on their strategy for after the ROFO has been ...more

My view is it is hard to imagine another company bidding for the asset in this market. I think Reservoir management obviously wanted to sell rather than staying independent and I think they shopped the company for quite a period of time and this is the best I came up with. Remember Freeport did not come up with much either. It is good to see NSU getting some analyst upgrades as that validates they ...more

The independent route was the big play but this market has been brutal for almost 5 years. Hitting decade lows when Freeport put the discovery up for sale. I have been beat up anytime I bring up less than to the moon scenarios but it is what it is. See my recent posts this is what I thought would be a good deal if we could get more of the discovery and that is what happened getting 33% instead of ...more

The Lundin CC is linked at the bottom.  As I expected the analysts wanted to know more on Timok and it was brought up in the first question around the 16 minute mark and then again around the 26 minute mark.  The answers were pretty much as expected in that they said they were "trumped" by Nevsun and wished them good luck..  The interesting part for me at least was in the ...more
