Just found this, still going through it, but it looks like some major shareholders are trying to vote down the deal and go it alone. Some compelling arguments.....read it here:

Wow is right, I guess the promotional video is perfectly timed to coincide with a big vote against the deal. The information is also posted on Sedar so it is official documentation https://www.sedar.com/DisplayCompanyDocuments.do?lang=EN&issuerNo=00032332 Looks like at least 8% of shareholders are voting no to the deal + my two cents worth. Great news that the 8% holder has already offered

I have had lingering doubts about the deal since it was announced and the more I read, the more pronounced my doubts become.  Whie the video is slick, it is the "Better Deal" website that really began to crystallize this for me.  I haven't had a chance to read the NSU-RMC solicitation materials yet but will be doing so over the weekend with a fresh perspective and more

 I asked my Sprott broker who holds my original Canadian shares on what they are recommending to their clients.  I just heard this morning that he is recommending to vote for the deal.

Rob-All the financial houses will recommend voting for the deal.  To do anything else would jeopardize their banking/financing business going forward with these entities.  They recommend what is in their self-interest, just like in the US.

After asking around it appears that some of our investers might own large blocks of Nevsun shares and in some cases more shares than Reservoir. This would make it hard for them to vote no since a combined company would be worth more to them.
