This share sale is not the end of the legal path RML can take against VZ...The litigation won and rock solid still provides RML many avenues to take VZ to task with already 99 percent of legalities already taken care of. Some folks say what if RML only gets half a billion from the share sale of Citgo..?...yea so...they still have the legal right to get the other billion elsewhere...planes/ships etc...any asset that hits other soil can be targeted. Yea obviously likely a fair deal both sides will come to fruitarian but RML does and can hold a legal sword for the full amount for as long as they want. Just saying.

While we would still have the legal right to pursue the rest(with accrueing interest), it may take forever to collect. Not too many other citgo opportunities out there.

If RML were able to access the funds of the corrupt dictatorship, I would say, "Yes, pursue all means."  But every time RML or any other corporation goes after the government of VZ to collect, they are taking from the resources of a now very impoverished nation, tettering on the verge of bankruptcy.  How many more resources are you hoping to milk from this disabled cow?

Hi Sam. Yes, 'they're taking from the resources of an impoverished nation' but the irony is that the natural resources of this nation are some of the most valuable in the world. It's largely the total economic failure of the administrations over the last 10/15 years which have crippled and dispersed the Venezuelan people. Not saying US sanctions have helped.
