A question for you legal experts.
If Maduro did obtain a hearing by the Supreme Court, would it be possible for the SC to rule, in complete contradiction to US foreign policy, that what is plainly the de facto government in VZ is also the de jure one. In the unlikely event of this happening, it would presumably negate all previous judgements.
Thanks.

be careful. it's not a foregone conclusion that the supreme court won't entertain taking this case. this is big and serious and even precedential. for us to think this is frivilous isn't wise.

My thoughts are that if Maduro could find a sympathetic ear in the legal system, he has a strong argument that Guaido's actions that led to the rulings were illegitimate. However I'm an eye for an eye, kinda guy so if VZ can arbitrarily steal our assets, we can steal theirs.

I'm no legal expert, but I do know they take 1.5% of cases that are submitted. Don't see them hearing this nonsense.
