Similar attributes to the - Homosapien Species - will cling, latch, and suck dry.
Can be found in some regional northern locations, tundras, but not specific to any...
Well known in the... mineral markets.

All kidding aside... yes, lichen is a fungi -
But... a very good pathfinder to detect minerals.

They leach mineral.. .feed off of them.
Similar ot coral in the oceans - siphoning, calcium, magnesium, and various other salts.
Lichen is known to change color based on the oxide minerals they leach.

Now.. what color are the lichen in that photo Ford ?

The best time I've had Wango while learning. The color (according to my IPad) is a light gray...perhaps white. So those aren't copper is my guess....and silver if I'm correct isn't on the list...nor is platinum. So I'm down sizing to Nickle (but I'm not sure that's on our list at this point). Bro I'm thinking Lead, Zinc or Cobalt as I've never seen a blue lichen ...more
