so when you buy and sell stock,does your name appear on the ticker?or is it your banks name,just wondering.

It could be TD but more likely someone ( like me or you ) who has an account at TD. The majority of all the trades of the last year are retail investors as there has not been that many days of large volume ( decent dollars trading hands ) for it to be institutional. JMHO
