Head fake, or the real deal?

I could be falling victim to the old Lee spell (it doesn't take much to get me excited with Replicel)

...but the tone Andrew spoke felt different this time. Was it just me, or do others feel the same.

the guy threw out was seems to be realistic (slightly wishful thinking) charts for growth of the device and the number of RCH users per/day with an approx 15 year timeline.

All this is could be a grad fake, but why?
1. Why did he show these fairly optimistic charts... was he trying to say something to us with out being so perspeictive?

2. if hw suspected the deal was going to collapse, why not wait 2-3 weeks once Shiseido comes through.

my only concern, is how good (or bad) will the RCH results be when Shiseido coughs up the dada? If bad, or not great... does this just take another 12-36 months?

thiughts?

I have to disagree with Bellend.  I too was impressed with the preperation of the presentation by Andrew.  Some of it may be wishfull thinking but on the other hand it is all possible. They are certainly putting  many eggs in the RCH-01 - Japan basket.  It would be interesting to hear if they had a Plan B if Shiseido wins the Arbitration.  Japan as per the presentation is ...more

This coming Oct. 18th will be 2 years from when this Arbitrtion has started.  Not sure why the shareholders are not informed when the Hearing has closed which would trigger the 60 day rule . Regardless i can't see this not coming to a conclusion any later than the month of October.  Let's keep our fingers crossed that that Replicel wins this Arbitration.

I  think this is a two  way street  relative to  sales.  I  have thought for years  that there was no volume  but  if you look on the ask  , it is always  low.  So the issue is  no one is buying because no one is selling. To do anything  you  would need  to do  about  50,000  to  200,000   ...more

from my point of view, its not about winning the arbitration - its about to land a deal with Shiseido to get their hairloss therapy into the market. That's the only thing of value they have... If this does not become a realiity there is not much value left. I did not attend to the AGM but I am really thrilled that some of you once again buy their dermal injector story.... 15 year timeline lol, ...more

Yes, case in point the title of this subject line. “Head fake or the real deal" injiboy - I was thinking the same, but I think toni is correct... if Replicel wins, but there's no deal / partnership... it will take years and a $hit ton of more investments. Plus, if Replicel wins and there's no deal, could this be a result of less than satisfactory results.  and then there ...more

All good points made here.  Listening to the presentation It is evident that Replicel's plan for RCH-01 at this point is all about commercializing it in Japan.  I didn't get a hint of any other market that Replicel is plannig on at this point. If Shiseido wins the Arbitration that plan is out the window.  What then ? On the other hand if they do win the Arbitration it looks ...more

I like it. fingeres crossed whats the eta an arbitration? Is it now end of Sept Andrew was saying? So a likely update would be in October... IF there is a partnership, I do imagine anupdate of the arbitration results would be delayed until the two sides can agree on what comes next, assuming a partnership is in the works.
