As RPL previously guaranteed the dividend be, then I suppose

the March Div will be paid March 31?

Renegade paid out a divi in march, ex-dividend date was end of feb, but with the pending merger the new company will be growth oriented and no longer paying a dividend.....I only assume there are no further dividends for RPL shareholders. But there is a bit of an arbitrage situation as it stands now when the shares are converted. I would rather the dividend be held to give this management team the ...more

The div paid in Mar was for Feb, SPE cant cancel the Mar RPL div (which was guaranteed by RPL in a prior nr now MISSING) UNTIL the merger is completed, something is wrong here.

I have never seen a confirmation of a March ex-dividend date and April dividend by RPL. I don't know where you saw this. I cant find any such NR on a google search. Only question is how much of a pop does SPE get once vote goes through? And when do RPL shares get converted to SPE? Anyone have predictions on the first and details for the latter?

When RPL reduced the dividend months back they guaranteed the reduced dividend as sustainable going forward, this all before the merger announcement. RPL should of publically recanted this div promise which they DID NOT nor did they announce the March div (usually a mid month practise payable sometime in April), it's not in the RPL Notice of Meeting either that I can find. The only mention of ...more

The Alexander news release on February 11, 2014 clearly says in the Transaction Summary section that they intend to cancel the existing monthly dividend paid by Renegade upon closing of the arrangement. As the date of closing is March 31st, the transaction conversion of 1 : .5625 includes this understnding. My reading of this is no March dividend for Renegade shareholders. Besides dividends ...more

Was Alexander or Spartan running RPL for the month of March? I'll bet that legally the merger doesn't really happen until April 1 (or later) and if not then the long suffering RPL shareholders should be paid 30/31st of a monthly March dividend? Do my RPL shares trade tomorrow, do I have tradable SPE shares April 1, I'll bet not? The RPL sum bucket management has swept this under the ...more

Borrowed money! When the #*! was RPL broke. Read the RPL Feb. 4, 2014 Capital Budget after the proxy vote of Jan. 27, 2014. Yes, RPL owes the Mar. divy but you'll never see it. They are a pack of sub human liars. I don't call them animals, cause I'm not cruel to animals. This whole deal is corrupt with the backing of the TSX which can buy off governments, judges and the whole ...more

The following is all that is commented on the dividend..... Underlying its commitment to build an aggressive growth oriented company, Alexander intends to cancel the existing monthly dividend paid by Renegade upon the closing of the Arrangement. Well I am just retail investor that reads the information that comes out from the man. In this case, the "Combined Company" of Alexanders and Renegade which is Spartan (SPE) to be led by the existing management team of Alxander on or about March 31st, 2014. Today. Unless Renegade has promised a March dividend since February 11, 2014 then I would not be looking for a dividend on my ...more
