is getting help from canopy  this should drive some other companies over to maps extraction with canopy sueing gw pharma over the use of co2 extraction which they have a patent as of today in the usa the patent expire in 1 1/2 years they got this co2 patent when they bought c3 cannabiboid in germany for 250m in 2019  valens   medipharm boss etc are in trouble i would think  how much is it going to cost to get a lic from cgc

we need to investigate  what other options these companies have as far as useing other solvents like butane and can they still produce their same quality products etc . i know radient does use other solvents down stream from their micowave for cetain products

Canopy will lose. Supercritical Fluid Extraction has been around since the mid-1980s, well before the 2000 patent. Canopy paid $1.00 for the patent. What does that tell you?    For GW Pharmaceuticals to win, the company will have to demonstrate that its method, described in broad terms on its website, uses technology not claimed in Canopy’s patent—or that the technology that Canopy’s ...more

This 1982 patent supersedes Canopy's 2000 patent. Case closed. https://patents.google.com/patent/US4554170A/en
