re sericite
although not common, sericite was seen within green carbonate in a couple of holes ( it is yellow in colour and closely resembles native gold in appearance)

Thanks for your response Garland. I was using Boyle's analogy that carbonate sericite wraps around quartz veins, with a chlorite carbonate zone wrapped around the carbonate sericite zone. With CA-21-15 ending in chlorite carbonate, it only made sense that if the hole had gone a bit further, who knows what it would have intersected. Maybe gold in a quartz vein!!!! Wishful thinking!!
