Copper
The following was taken from Northstar's news release of Jan 13, 2022
"New discoveries of high-angle gold-copper zones at depth in holes MG21-64 (4.71 g/t Au, 0.51% Cu over 6.4 metres) within a segment of the Independence Fault Zone and MG21-65 (9.41 g/t Au, 1.03% Cu over 3.0 metres), adjacent to a sheared porphyry dike could represent structurally controlled sub-vertical feeder systems for gold-bearing hydrothermal fluids within the Allied Deformation Zone. Metallic screen results are pending for all holes".
This is something that RTM should keep in mind, when following up on the large magnetic low (LML) anomaly. Copper seems to be ubiquous with syenite and if the LML is a syenite, then it should be soil sampled for copper, as well as for gold.
The copper/gold occurrences to the north, along strike with the Link Catharine property, are the former Patterson Mine, Trelawney-Ossian Mine, and the Mindoka zone. They each have good copper occurrences and the geology is comparable.
Some former copper/gold producers, somewhat similar to the NorthStar Gold Allied Syenite property, are the Upper Beaver (Agnico Eagle) and the Beattie Mine (First Mining) in Quebec. Geophysical characteristics are much the same for these three areas.
