Think the endocrine drug is Zofenopril | high blood pressure

Based on the stocks reaction to this announcement I feel like some people know much more about this product and its potential then I do????

I found the press release cryptic (which I assume was done on purpose).

If anyone has some infomration about the drug, its market size / potential, use cases, etc can you please post?

When I used to have access to a Bloomberg, my associate had shown me a page on there where you can see almost real-time product sales information?   Anyone have access to Bloomberg?

I did some searching and found Biosyent attached to a blood pressure drug called Zofenopril

I found a submission from Health Canada dated April 30,2024

https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/hc-sc/documents/services/drug-health-product-review-approval/submissions-under-review/excel-SUR-lists-eng-2024-04.xlsx&ved=2ahUKEwijkJ-v6-qGAxUvkokEHSeMD34QFnoECBUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1WGYY8LGJGSi8pzieiJYl1

(Go to New drug sub's under review tab)
Zefenorpil is a ACE inhibitor used to control high blood pressure.

High blood pressure is an endocrine based disease which aligns with the press release.  If this is the drug that Biosyent has licensed I see why the stock is running.  The anti-hypertensive is large and growing.  There is a report on the global zefenopril market but I couldn't find any free states.

It is mentioned as an alternative to Ramapril which is perhaps the most common high blood pressure medicine.

According to

https://www.databridgemarketresearch.com/reports/global-ramipril-market

The global market size for ramapril is U$550 Billion.

The sub-segment that Zofenoprile belongs to is a U$9 billion dollar market, and growing quickly.

Could be a game changing drug for Biosyent!!!  This could be the moment I have been waiting years for!!!!

I doubt its high blood pressure.... "We see a significant opportunity with this product which will address an unmet medical need in Canada.”

I don't think that comment precludes this.  Hyper tension is a rapidly growing issue in the broader population. Typically, I have found that Canada does not usually have access to as broad a suite of pharmacological alternatives. Also, and perhaps the most simple fact, how do you ignore the filling for the drug with Health Canada???  I searched all of the sheet tabs for " ...more
