Hmm

Some people on here post magazine articles about how great RYU products are, and awards that they win for their backpacks. Are these paid advertisements?
Others post about stopping by the stores and seeing they are empty. Aren't they all about community involvement?
Comment by had2chimeIN on Aug 25, 2019 2:09am
yes 100% paid ads. The stores are empty its scary! I actually ended up at metrotown somehow last weekend and I honesty thought the store was closed. 4th Ave. Just my POV of course. Don't want to get my post deleted AGAIN! Someone doesn't like my truth...allegedly.

I posted a couple of links to current product awareness regarding RYU. I am NOT a paid advertiser so your “100%” that you replied shows the very little credibility that you have. I am always open to honest, intellectual and informative discussions concerning any investment but unfortunately had2chimeIN is a negative person who offers very little substance, intelligence or anything robust to ...more

no man. You're not paid the ads are. They're bought content in magazines. Much like the awards. It's all just content and income for the magazines and websites. You are right though I do have 0 credibility. I'm just some dude that invested in a shitty company as a gamble and now I come on here once in a while and check up on it. I don't have much positive stuff to say about no. ...more

Just put him on ignore, it's not worth your time with that tool. He obvioulsy is just a troll and hasn't he slightest clue what it takes to build a business from the ground up. There's gonna be a lot of ups and downs with RYU, but you never know we could have a gem here in a few years.

if what theyre doing is "what it takes" in your eyes then you're certainly on the payroll lol. Why haven't you ignored me yet? Want to make sure you respond to all the truth being told. They opened three more stores since the same period in 2018 which is 9 instead of 6 I think? I wonder why the revenue went up 30%? That means everything else is stale already. That's not a ...more

I want the brand to succeed as much as anyone else here (and I have my own money invested in it so call me biased) but I have to view the financial reports as impartially as I can.  Revenue growth of 30% is good on it's own, but it's not so hot when you also factor in that they've increased their brick & mortar footprint by ~50%.   They've chosen the right ...more

Post deleted again? Why would that happen? Because you're not a bitter investor, your obviously shorting the stock. So how much money will you make if the stock drops more? You're putting a lot of effort into pushing the stock down, so transparent. And your comment "6 stores I think". I think??? So you're sure about what you heard from a friend about the office environment ...more

I am not shorting the stock. You're hilarious.
Comment by had2chimeIN on Aug 31, 2019 1:49am
Why are you so mad? Who are you trying to convince this isn't a sinking ship? It's pretty obvious man.
Comment by Dude156 on Aug 31, 2019 2:10am
You "come on here once in awhile" yet you respond within the hour. You live on this site. You stated your comments are all alleged and are just your POV, You are heavily invested in shorting this stock and it makes sense why all your comments are all the same predictable rhetoric.

But Chime what is your end game? I’ve posted their future planning, profitability action plans and analyzed quarterly results and you’ve accused me of being a pumper otherwise a bot. You’re most certainly entitled to your opinion, but this is an investment into a future prospect and we are looking for healthy, productive and intellectual dialogue.  You can have concerns, but simply stating ...more

I know. And you're right. Just bitter is all. I really want it to do well and have a glimmer of hope that it will. I think the reason for being so critical is that I know the investment manager there watches this board and I'm sure they get it from all their friends and families that have invested as well. THEY NEED TO CHANGE IT UP! I just hope they get the message before it's too late ...more

Ok Chime, that's a very honest and fair answer. Bitterness I can certainly understand. Even I'm concerned now with the latest issuance of shares. And with the inevitability of a global recession, this may not be the best play at this time.

@athleticsguy said it better than I've been saying. Great brand, great clothes, great backing, great locations. What's wrong? Poor marketing led by oldschool business tactics. I mean advertising at Canucks Games on the boards?! But no real IG influencers? And god just get rid of the desperate promo idiots boxing in the stores as an "event". What are these guys 60? Oh wait they ...more
