SGPTF Video on the Crucial Role of Domestic Potash Supply

As detailed in Sage Potash's (traded as SGPTF or SAGE for Canadian investors) latest video, the US needs domestic potash supply to both ensure food security and lower transportation costs. Potash is a vital fertilizer that supports America's massive agricultural sector while freight and storage costs for potash delivery from Canada range between $150 to $225 per ton.

SGPTF's Sage Plain Potash Project is located in Utah, a progressive, safe, and stable jurisdiction with immense undeveloped potash resources. Specifically, the project is within the Paradox Basin, which is estimated to contain 2 billion tons of potash including high-grade beds.

Lithium has also been discovered at the Sage Plain Project. Given that SGPTF has established a dedicated subsidiary called Sage Lithium and already has the rights for saline mineral extraction on the project, there is potential for economic lithium extraction from brines on the project.

Currently, SGPTF has plans to use Dual Well Solution Mining to extract from the estimated 279.5 million metric ton potash resource on the project.

As this mining method uses water, SGPTF's recent news that it has been granted water authorization from Utah's Department of Natural Resources Division of Water Rights to annually withdraw up to 0.207 cubic feet per second (CFS) or 150 acre-feet of brackish water from the Sage Plain Project.

This will allow SGPTF to use brackish water for its solution mining of potash, which is not only eco-friendly but also expected to reduce initial capital and production costs.
