vulcan buying coal @ logistics

i have my ear close to the ground on this one and looking for feedback !  Vale selling its Moatize coal mine @ nacala logistics corridor for 270 million/US to vulcan minerals . was mentioned in VALES NEWS @ NORTHERN MINER

Coal...not sure why they would buy it unless coal it's still profitable .  With so many "greenheads" around I'm actually surprised at this move unless Vulcan needs some write off loses.  The mine does have a 12 million ton potential that has yet to be realized...that may be a question to pose on a Vulcan board even though they are a significant shareholder in Atlas Salt ...more

The PR's are very vague.  There's nothing on the Vulcan Mineral website but the fact it isn't mentioned could be attributed to the holidays...but the PR's out there specifically say Vulcan Minerals for some reason...I'm sure it will be cleared up one way or the other.   But it sure seems like Vulcan we know....check it out... two...
