If Atlas Salt was going to be bought out, why would they need to do a roadshow in YXU? 

I get the feeling that Roland may be looking at building the salt factory and perhaps feels he can get more return for investors once the infrastrucure is in place to mine the salt versus selling based on the FS. 

Perhaps the walk down on SP is due to a possibe financing......just my opinion

Kilofinal, I am also thinking the way you are. Rowland is thinking of all possibilities, but given his track record, education and age, I can easily see him bring this to production. He also understands that you need to get the profit takers out here and replace them with people looking for $5 to $10, it is always best to move stock into strong hands, it will make his job easier. my view it that it is always about the money. With the right offer this will get sold before any production starts. This said I expect buyouts to be low balled as usual and all the major investors will have to play tough to get an offer that is reasonable. Without a resonable offer and assuming a market for the salt re eliminating the overseas shipments then we could have a profitable mine soon ...more

The thing is that if they try and low ball they will simply be told to pound sand. They are sealing with a well seasoned industry vetran, and a strong management team. They are not hoping for a mineral, they have it. They know what they have, they know what its worth. They have money in the bank and can easily raise money if they want to develop.
