How much do they need to raise

if they build the mine themselves as I see a buyout being much higher in production

Not going to happen. Rowland might stay with the project with the new owners as his background is second to none. Besides, if it ends up as a Stone Canyon property, he's worked for Demetree before, so I' m sure if there were no hard feelings on the exit, he's in for as much as he wants to be. Vulcan is the key to the treasure chest here. Patrick is laying out a grand plan, and SALT is ...more

I'm actually suprised Vulcan hasn't moved higher than it has. It should be trading at roughly 1/4 the price of Salt. Just a matter of time i guess. As long as SALT keeps rising Vulcan will eventually follow.

You guys are a tad crazy Rowland was brought on to bring the mine to production, if they did not intend to go to production they did not need Rowland  You should watch the videos as numerous times he discusees going to production and if they are in production we would get over $10 in a buyout and much less if not

So as any good manager would do, Patrick brings on board a Mega Pro in Rowland, to leave all his options open. He's messaging any potential buyers that if he has to, he has the talent on the bench to go it alone. With Mr. Salt on standby, he can turn to private equity to fund the deal, while Atlas remains a partner, and reaps the cash flow for decades to come. Private Equity likes those kind ...more

The resource as well as management is stellar.

It surprises me as well, for such a major stake they have in Atlas.  It makes me question whether Vulcan's other assets have much value at all really because it's not moving SP  since I've been investing in Atlas for well over a year ago now...

It's a little surprising but also not unusual for exploration companies like Vulcan, until their equity stake in Atlas actually has anything other than realized value (buyout or operating mine), it's largely discounted. Vulcan actually has a lot of underappreciated value outside Atlas and its spinout, for example they retain 3% smelter royalty rights on the Gander Gold belt they sold to ...more
