...gets first mention of 4 underground storage sites on page 48...interesting

"For underground options, geological formations such as saline aquifers and salt caverns can serve as permanent CO2 storage options and potentially for storing hydrogen at large scale. A geological study to understand sequestration capabilities in the area is required to understand underground storage capabilities. There are several salt caverns within the vicinity of the Project site, including Fischells Brook, St Teresa – Flat Bay, Barachois Brook, and Harry’s River, which could be used as storage facilities for the hydrogen. The Project is currently investigating the suitability and overall proposition for this as it would significantly increase flexibility of the plant."

Also found 4 mineral rights claimed and issued to Atlas  Salt for Flat Bay with a total of 42 staked sections...2 outta 4 ain't bad  Newfoundland and Labrador Geoscience Atlas (gov.nl.ca)

interesting....are we not the only game in town then? not the only game but the best game? todays NR states "Atlas owns 100% of the Fischell’s Brook salt deposit, Newfoundland and Labrador’s only known salt dome with clean hydrogen storage potential." the page48 reference you linked to https://www.gov.nl.ca/ecc/files/2202-Registration-Document.pdf states "There are several salt ...more

From what I've researched, and you yourself have researched, Atlas holds the underground storage cards for the upcoming signed accord between Canada and Germany...that being said, one must consider whether there'll be more European countries jump on this band-wagon too just because of their dependance on the Russian energy supply chain ...not only now but moving forward.  Germany ...more
