why VUL is trading is sympathy with SALT makes no sense
SALT shares are going down because of the spinout
but VUL is receiving shares of triple point so they should be valued ay 36% of SALT+ 36% of Triple Point. Looking tasty at present valuations

SALT has been sinking because of the spin out for a couple weeks now.  When will it be enough?  If we know Triple Point is worth $0.50 a share next week does that mean SALT will go down yet another $0.50 a share that day?

doubt it...markets tend to be forward looking  most if not all has already been priced in....guess we're about to find out my point was that VUL has dropped more than SALT and that it's valuation seems rip at these levels

Yes, it will drop when the spin out actually occurs. It'll drop by whatever the value is/has been set at.  all this painful weeks long drop has nothing to do with the mechanics of what's going to happen.
