60 minutes - wind farms

60 minutes had a segment on wind farm in Grimsby, England last night, 10/16.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/wind-energy-grimsby-england-60-minutes-2022-10-16/

it said 2nd largest in the world. 2nd to china?! This one is 300 sq miles, think it was 300 turbines. Those things are quite big, generates about as much as a nuclear plant. Each one about half as tall as Eiffel Tower. One revolution of those puppies can power a home for a day! Interesting stuff..
Think the biggest complaint was that rates haven't come down. (Energy prices are up everywhere tho, so that's just a general gripe everywhere)
were the proposals for Newfoundland 150 turbines?

that's what's up! Maybe more appropriate to Triple point which I STILL don't have my shares.  I'm wondering if nobody can trade until all our banks have sent us our 3xpt shares?

It looks like I have my shares just no price put to them yet.  At first there was a high dollar today but its now shrunk.  If it stays at this we are looking at 4-5 cents a share.  Not much to write home about and they are years away from being worth anything and thats if you can trust the politicians in Canada to let stuff get done.

That's a fictious price per share and doesn't reflect any real price. Some of mine show 9.18 and others show 5 cents.
Comment by Zephyr on Oct 18, 2022 7:51am
No. It's not a ficticious price. Yes, TD screwed up the calculation to get to the $9.185 'cost per share' as it seems they treated the September 21st transaction as a share exchange based on the approximate $2.50 market value of SALT on that day. So, they basically took your SALT share holdings times .2711 to get the total TPR shares you are eligible for but then assumed you were ...more

My TPR shares initially were priced at $9.185/sh, it now shows 5 cents/sh ... no one knows pps at this point, only the market, listing and news will tell us in due time.

Pardon my ignorance, but why aren't the TPR shares listed and trading on an exchange?
Comment by Zephyr on Oct 18, 2022 10:55am
Because TPR is still going through the steps to be approved for listing on the CSE.
Comment by nedstar71 on Oct 18, 2022 10:59am
Ok thanks. This is the first time I've seen a spinout not start trading immediately on at least some exchange once it has been spun out. Did someone drop the ball or what?
Comment by Zephyr on Oct 18, 2022 11:21am
I doubt it. It likley comes down to the amount of lead time one has to prepare. This one seemed to happen pretty quickly and in the throws of Summer as well. I'm sure the company is just working through the regulatory filings required for the CSE to have the listing approved.

Re TPR.  Good question as this is the longest I've ever seen  a spin out not pricing?????   I just hope price starts at the giveaway price on that inside deal.  .02 would be perfect in my view allowing us outsiders to grab some cheap like those insiders.
Comment by Zephyr on Oct 18, 2022 11:26am
Hey, I'm hoping it opens at .02 as well! However, that would depend on a significant number of people just duming shares for little or no value. For example, a holder of 5,000 shares of SALT at the record date would be entitled to 1,355 TPR shares. If they sold them for .02, they'd get $27. Some may do it if they say absolutely nil value in TPR. However, for my money, I'd just wait to ...more

Had to get rid of the 777 otherwise the unmelted snowchildren would be trying to sharpen their crayons and slay you with their unread stupidity.

What are you 2 years old ?
Comment by Donwaan on Oct 19, 2022 11:48am
777, I agree. Posts that are personal are irrelevant to SALT and this bullboard. Facts and ideas on hand the other hand are informative, interesting and helpful. GLTA
