Comments from Sonya Roberts - head of Cargill salt business
Cargill had 3 salt mines in the USA -
1. Avery salt mine which is now closed due to flooding. 2 people died
2. Cayuga salt mine in upper New York State ( I've shared the risks already in an earlir post)
3. Salt mine under lake Erie (Cleveland) that produces approx. 2M tones of salt a year. This mine also had flooding which resulted in the stoppage of mining years ago so they could stop the leaks -

What's interesting is the comments from the company's head of salt mining -
“Our supply chain is robust and we remain committed to investing in our other operations while continuing to grow our salt business.”

Pretty sure every ceo in any form of mining buisness says the same kinds of things. kind of the most basic thing to say for a mining company Might mean something or might not why are so many trying to pump a specific buyer like they know for sure.

Because they missed the part where Rowland Howe said they are developing the mine.

If Atlas develops this mine something has gone really wrong in the first several months on 2023.
