And now

ceo board is consumed with discussions about Trump.  Goes to show the kind of expertise on that site.

I guess when the stock goes up 7 cents but then loses 11 cents why not discuss some guy that doesnt matter to anything salt related.

well that and how a ceo that didnt have a job is going to be a huge benefit to salt.

No one can explain how the new ceo who has to have been sitting at home (good sign of a great ceo) is going to jack squat.

no buyers in site = have to take it to production = long long wait for investors.

How do you know no buyers in sight.  Two senior reps from Compass have twice visited in recent months
Comment by general360 on Mar 01, 2023 10:04pm
care to share how you know this? And who it was/when etc? many thanks in advance!   is this in addition to other visits?  I think someone said something about visits quite a while ago.

He or she is blowing hot smoke up your butt how would anyone know except an insider that anyone from compass has been there. What are these compass guys famous?  Does brad Pitt work for compass?  Who would know if any stranger worked for anyone.  it's BS with no backup

This is why I dont post here very often. Family and friends that live in area are well informed. When an invoice for such things as rentals, food etc are paid by a company credit card then word spreads quickly. Being called names on here is just so immature and childish.

thanks Willsridge!  every little tidbit keeps us plugged in, we're all doing the best we can. others have said Compass can't afford us. maybe they can. maybe this is a joint venture and not a take out. this hasn't lived up to the hype so far, we're pretty far apart from where the team said we should be and where we currently are.  the fact that mangaement is surprised ...more

You asked.....Who would know if any stranger worked for anyone??. Think about it.....small town, stranger uses company cc to pay for accommodation,  rental, food etc. Seeen with certain people having drinks etc. I was at a bar in St. JOHN'S several years ago and saw a guy use a Wells Fargo cc. Figured he was there to auction off recreational vehicles from a company rumored going under ...more

its sad but kinda curious why a bunch of canadians are lining up to lick the trumpensuhrer's bag?  its gotten bad over there indeed. a few of them had some insightful stuff, but when you start spewing about how good trump was, and name just ONE thing he did that was illegal!?! so. many. examples.  just because he hasn't been convicted doesn't mean it's not illegal! i thnk ...more

Hi general, It's very hard to come up with  concrete valuations on a buyout. I have been struggling with that. Asked one of our board members who has experience in some of that what the thinking is on that. First of all look at discounted cash flow and NPV after tax as one metric . Then discount that significantly for a buyer to take on operational risk buying an undeveloped resource. If ...more

Hi Laruch,   First, I have zero experience w/ this, not my field and I don’t have much to observe from the wild. We really only have 1 other salt company to compare to (publicly available numbers anyways, Compass); plus the 5.2B in deals since 2020;  I’m going by research and what the co has told us, plus the speculation from the board. I’ve previously said this should be around the low ...more

Well General, that's a lot of math!  Let's simplify ..take your case 1 at potential earnings  times 12.5  is .3 b. Discount for risk to buyer of undeveloped mine 60 percent. Gives  .4  times 3 or 1.2 b.  12 dollars per share. I'm in! L

i'd say agreed, bring on the $12, that would be fair at this point in time, but we can't even hold $1.5. if PEA gives us 20% valuation, maybe the FS bumps us up to 40% or more!  guess we'll see... not sure if we're waiting on an updated/refined PEA or just the 43-101 report; the one that's mentioned in the NR... is that's a "short term catalyst"? nothing ...more

Boring as hell watching this bounce between 1.4 and 1.5.  Nobody interested, look at the volume. Holding for $12 but might be old and dead first!
