The Atlas Salt Game Plan

So, it looks like the strategy is to let the stock hit rock bottom, and then a $2.00 buy out is supposed to make us all happy!

Everyone on this board that had visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, should go back to buying lottery tickets.

I don't think that's true. This company is not going to be forced into accepting anything near this level. Everyone knows how much this thing is worth and during these poor economic days they're probably not getting the offers they want. They certainly don't feel the pressure to sell anytime soon. It'll probably take a waiting game, but if they sold out at anything under $5 per ...more

Further if I may... keep in mind Atlas Salt management individuals hold more shares than any of us I would believe. They have more cash on the line than we do. I doubt they feel the pressure to sell the project at today's share price, definitely not at the $2 to$2.50 range that's been lately suggested. They're probably looking for closer to $10 a share, but it would be difficult to get ...more

Rigg-- my last few post was just kind of showing what is happening in the Atlas Salt space and a few other company's . Back in the day all we had was the phone and your stock tip came from local bar , taxi ,etc and now it's all over the media .FB, everywhere . So now you get this new group of investors doing no DD , no knowledge how the junior companys raise money ,time lines etc . The run ...more

I take issue with people saying there was no reason for the stock run up to 4 bucks.  I'm not saying you said these things but all you heard about when that happened was how this thing was going to 10 and 25 and 76 bucks a share. When i said to keep things low and get realistic expectations I was attacked on all fronts. And it wasn't one or two people but the boards in general.  ...more

Ok, I'll bite. I've have said here, any other places, that the notion of $70-$80 (or $40-$50, etc) has always been a stretch. However, not because I can't represent those values to anyone in a properly executed NPV, but becuse if this gets bought out, no acquirer is going to pay values for an asset as if this was an operating company with years of historical, executed cash flows ...more

Got to hope the Industry sees the value of this company even though traders clearly don't these days.

I didn't buy into the hype but sure enjoyed the run up and will enjoy the next run up . One thing I do is preach that there is a lot of REE in the area and I own other company shares . I also C@ P news highlights to help out on the daily jibber jabber . I  like everyone else is wondering just what can the new CEO do for this company ?  What happened with Rolland , is this project ...more

Yes you're definitely right about these points. I see ads on tv showing 19 year olds trading stocks on their cell phone apps. If this is actually happening in real life you gotta wonder if these people actually know what they're doing. Some of these people tend to panic and bail for whatever price they can get if the share price doesn't rise in a day or two, I will say however the more ...more
