True. If this individual is truly the right person for the position and a deal can be negotiated.....1-4 weeks? However, if this person doesn't get the nod of approval.......well, then we are into a new horizon ;)

I don't even have confident they have found the person yet.  they have no credibility with me right now.  whoever thought they would have a new ceo in a few weeks should had been fired and whoever didn't tell that person they were nuts for saying that also should had been fired.  that is no brainer stuff. How can you build a mine when you will actually think and then ...more

I for one would not like to see Rowland as the CEO. I'm not even sure he had boardroom experience prior to retiring first in 2016 or so. Which mine did he build? He increased production, efficiency and proftability at Goodrich but that is is a whole different board game to building a mine.  Don't forget Rowland is on the Atlas board and must also take some responsibility for the ...more

I agree. They had their chance and blew it and he has a part to play.  they just pump him up so much in their videos. People call him "Mr salt". Ok what people besides atlas salt calls him that

If the current negitiations fall through, you may see Rowland or Anderson appointed as interim CEO IMO. However, that would be the extent of it. SALT will get a qualified CEO when this is done. Lol, and before you start jumping up & down saying you are not sure if the current candidate is real....yes, there is a current candidate (just like there were short lists in the past that fell through ...more

Any interim appointment would really see a sell off as it would indicate no CEO on the horizon, and no CEO means no FS released, and so I think they would want to avoid that scenario. I think we are now seeing Rowland as the CEO without the title or announcement and Patrick is already history.

I agree and I'm thinking they think they have a path to avoid that scenario at this time. I know I could do without the drama :)
