Absolutely. The funny part is that even under previous leadership, the Company has always said that the path forward was to start to build the mine and if someone wants to take it out (for value) before completion (which many expect/expected), so be it. The problem is that there were too many delays and it became increasingly clear that Pat et. al. didn't know how to get this started properly ...more

Up until now building the mine was a pipe dream. Could not be done.  Now Atlas have the personnel to make that a real possibility. Potential suitors who knew Atlas were out of their depth will now sit up and think do we really want a new player in the salt market treading on our patch.

Exactly. I said elsewhere last Friday that I'm sure no one in the industry likely thought that Atlas would score a CEO with the sreet cred  that they did. The execution risk removed on Friday was staggering. Sure, the market price may not reflect it as it trades over the next little while but this thing is on a new trajectory. I think this is exactly the situation.  Key here is the ability for Atlas to be able to do this mine themselves.  Looks like we will be in a position to do so.
