Fundamentals

As a play to hold long, SAY is arguably a very good bet. At its current sp it has almost met the conservative Fair Value sp by Morningstar of $.06 (this after yesterday's close). That, to me, is part of the longterm attraction. It's not volatile enough nor worth enough to be manipulated by day traders and shorters. As a consequence the sp seems stable and sustainable. Barchart still has an 88% strong buy and a "strongest short term outlook" on maintaining and moving forward from its current valuation.

As the financials presented ....it has weathered the storm of the pandemic as well as could have been predicted and probably better than most expected. Clearly the influence of covid is likely to be around for no less than the first half of 2021 which means growth will be slow. Morningstar has a speculative 1-star valuation of $.15 which some might suggest is not spectacular. It is certainly achievable and would be an almost 400% increase from just one month ago.

The current sp is cheap, the company makes money, even if the bottom line is still in the red (the cost of R&D), Sparta has significant potential revenue in the pipeline (an NR on a large contract would probably see the sp double in a day) and the CEO is incredibly transparent and focused.

Sparta is not one of these "pay off your mortgage" in a day plays but has significant upside for the patient. The one year chart shows a positive trend and the volumes of late show much more interest in the stock.

GLTA!!!

After my own DD, this part right here does it for me.  I am long for long. So far I am happy. "The current sp is cheap, the company makes money, even if the bottom line is still in the red (the cost of R&D), Sparta has significant potential revenue in the pipeline (an NR on a large contract would probably see the sp double in a day) and the CEO is incredibly transparent and focused. ...more

Great summary @Smokey. My plan for Sparta is to keep adding shares throughout 2021 and build a nice position (hopefully close to 1 mil shares). I'm only at the beginning so I'm actually very happy with the current SP. I own other stocks that have already built and I hope will keep increasing my down payment and I believe Sparta will actually be my "pay off my mortgage" stock ...more

first impression here philipeso is you're working in a pump tandem with smokey's posts - comes across as kinda sketchy doyathink?
Comment by pintyscashphd on Feb 08, 2021 12:16am
actually kinda' getting the impression of a few tag-team pumps going here -Gal's consistent chiming in "to a t" to Smokey's posts springs to mind as an eyebrow raising questioning example..don't know for sure but the possibilities are endless...be careful here folks, you just MAY be in play.......Good Luck!

Hehe you actually made me laugh :) well I happen to know @Smokey from another board (full disclosure: we are both long on CBDT), he's been always helpful (I'm kind of new to stock trading so I have questions and he takes time to answer) and I find his posts informative and want him to keep posting. There, mystery solved. Also, if I was saying SAY will skyrocket to a dollar in a short term ...more

Pinty, you've made my day. I saw your post from January 18th on the CBDT board ....and that tells me a lot about your objective views. I'm happy that Gal was able to set the relationship up as it is. Thanks Gal ;) I'm actually sorry a few more of the investors in SAY, especially those who have been really long, don't add a little to the conversation. I would be sincerely ...more

agreed Smokey, your efforts put into your always insightful info in your posts is clear, helpful & to be commended -impressions that others were merely echoing your posts to play up the opportunity were, I guess, wrong......again. An earlier post of yours brought 'say' to my attention, I checked out their diversified business, liked what they're doing & took a small position ...more

No worries and you're welcome! There is so much rubbish on these boards that it can be challenging to have a frank, open discussion. I just wish I could remember the "handle" of the individual who has been very long on SAY. He doesn't post much or often but he provided some extra confidence that SAY was worth taking a shot at. Speaking of "long" shots I bought some ...more

Thx Smokey I have an aversion to the sens (ie Ottawa) lol but will check into "sens" for sure. Possible 'handle' from the memory bank could be "North40" - I remember also some posts from a long-time SAY investor & in checking back I believe this was the person's 'handle' who has also provided some helpful info.

Hi @North! We are basically hoping to add more valuable discussion here so we are summoning "ghosts of the past" who had some good input, welcome back :) let's start with why do you think this month is important to Sparta? :) Also, if you're still holding CBDT but haven't checked in for a while as well - we are halted on Steve's request re. pending news :)

I'm in both HRH, KNR. Also SENS and obviously SAY which is my biggest hold so far. I believe in this company and what i can achieve, perhaps in the very near future. But I agree, it needs more media attention. GLTA!
