Howie will not leave

Until someone buys sirona. He gets some % of the deal value, so he will do everything to stay in the ceo seat. Just having a deal and the transformation to a company that really earns money is not enough.

its is enough for me if one or two big deals pulls us into $1-2 or higher range. he can spend another 10 years working on whatever he wants for all I care.

Yes. If we get into the $'s range, i won't give a cra# what he does.  I thought maybe he would want to take the company to the next level with a full time CEO, that knows what they are doing. Although it must be nice having an extra large paycheque going into into his bank account every month. It seemed he had total control over the company before he was CEO, and probably would after, ...more

I personal view is, that this is not the intention from Howard to build a big global company. Again, he is already 60 years old and his intention is to sell the company to the right price. The question in mind is what the right price is if we see two major deals this year: one with Big Pharma and one for pet diabetes? We will see!!

I think he would take a buyout at Reasonable price. He's got over 10 million shares personally. Who knows if family has more. If he sells it proves he has done a meaningful job.  let's just close 1067 deal first and see what it is?  Him saying financially change company's future could mean a lot of different things

Does that suggest if he was in his mid-70's there might be more of an urgency? I am over 80 -- time is becoming of the essence for me, I know that. And I wish it was only SBM, not a handful of dead, or presumably dead, horses. And most management is much younger with little apparent concern for time. That's why they tell me I am supposed to be in dead GIC's. :-)) All perspectives ...more
