Note to clarify - it looks like his primary role is a primary advisor to the Board, not a board member himself. Even better to have him working with Sirona as a person who can look into what had been going on, and how best to position the company properly, maybe even with the view to position it for a prime buyout. At some point, Sirona should layout the recommendations, but it looks like he had

Yes, additional board members with supplementing competences and experiences should absolutely be recruited to the board.    Some of the present board members could also be replaced. There is an urgent need to get an adequate governance top-down in the organisation regardless of listing and potential up-listing.

Real change would mean , board member, CEO, CFO.. I thing and I might be wrong. An advisor to the board, can be tossed aside as fast as he was hired. I am sure any new mangment  and or board member brought to the table  would of kept the share price synergy positive. No doubt Dr. Wolfgang would be such based on his bio. Looks like we only have part of the story here. The give back today may be temporary as some profits taken. The stock is nowhere near done with its rise.
