Fundamental issue

I've interacted with many doctors on a social basis over the year. One thing they usually have in common is that they think they outsmart everyone else on any subject... Especially male doctors! I don't think Howard is an exception and the result is a business disaster.

This leads me to doubt the role of Linda Pullan. Based on the outcome of the abbvie deal combined with comment in previous NR that she has assisted in negotiations I'm led to believe that she has merely been an advisor and Howard has been operational in lead of the activity.

Howard is obviously communicating a dream and lack discernment, because he cannot provide substance to make the dream come true - since he suffer of doctors syndrome as explained above.

I was led to believe that a new CEO is in the works as communicated by PRC Partners that the company had choose as the means to get the message out. But I don't get these vibes from the last update.

This guy is the biggest threat to the company, the CFO is not far behind though, how can one get rid of him? There must be a few actors that have participated in the private placements over the years that cannot be very happy now. I know for sure the Howard has stopped communicate with at least one of them.

Don't forget Mrs. Seltenrich as VP operations. She negotiated the great R&F Deal as well she is responsible for the communication with shareholder's over years. She never gave us the feeling that something went wrong. Since years now she promised to improve shareholder communication but finally the same lies from the CEO are addressed. My hope is that the whole Canadian Management will ...more

Seems like only Geraldine contribute with value among management. Unfortunately, I think she's good as long she can continue with lab magics. But what if she'd realize that the business is at risk? Would be great if someone has an established communication with her in position to reach out.

Michelle is responsible for the anticipated next deal - diabetes treatment if animals. Do you suggest that she's willing to give away this one for free as well? I know I refer to the former CEO Neil from time to time. Nevertheless, he actually knew how to strike a favourable deal - twice for this company. The company need someone like him again. I'm afraid that Howard is too proud to ...more

All Howard has to do is fully disclose financial and agreement details to provide analysts and investors the necessary data to make their own calculations.  Share price movment will be organic and healthy.  In his own mind Howard thinks he is awesome, contrary to every other living soul, that is ok if he can deliver.  But he cannot, hence tries to present a silver lining to his ...more

Sirona is exaggerating market size too...... 37% of the hyperpigmentation market is chemical peels so topical creams is much less than $8 billion.    https://www.medgadget.com/2020/03/pigmentation-disorders-market-to-reach-usd-10-22-billion-by-2026-growing-at-a-cagr-of-8-4-reports-and-data.html

the market is just big, but that now is for abbvie to chase. our chances that they succeed in grabbing a meaningful chunck is quite reasonable. For my own analysis I prefer to work from where Skinmedica was when it transfferred to Allergan in 2018, then extrapolate. If they grab more than my baseline assumption then it exceeds the $100M mark by the relative royalty. The better question is ...more

Realistic expectations is key. Building a hype not fulfilled kills the share price. The irony is that going realistic seems lame in the first place, but any overperformance will be rewarded and leading into a much higher share price in the end because trust and positive sentiment is built. However, you need to be bold for that... There's no problem for the company to release the overall ...more

Concise numbers are the currency of investors. Howie expects agencies and people to come running to his door with real dollars, but fails to give the same in return. What analyst or insti rep is going to risk their clients dollars in front of their boss if they cannot justify a calculatable return that is supported by numbers?  Hence no numbers equals no returns and the insti's move onto ...more
